There is an extremely wide range of possibilities for expressing images in concrete. Colors run from pure white to very black, and a wide range of earth tones and several more pure hues of yellow, reds and blues. Pieces can be sanded smooth as polished stone or left in a wide variety of textures. They can be made free form using armatures and screens and meshes for strength. They can be created by making molds and fillings the molds as well. The pieces can then be further carved and refined making each piece a one of a kind individual piece. Some pieces are small enough for indoor table tops, and others are monumental in scale, and may include fountain features.
